During the workshop, students will participate in classes and design reviews, transforming their travel experiences into design proposals. They will begin by organizing materials gathered from on-site observations and interviews into hypotheses and design objectives, which they will present publicly during pin-ups. Instructors and peers then examine the project’s context through focused questions — such as site constraints, climatic responses, material and construction availability, and community use scenarios. Students develop their ideas from conceptual diagrams to plans, sections, elevations, and small-scale models, and test feasibility through brief scenario simulations.

Through this iterative cycle of public presentation × critical dialogue × rapid refinement, the knowledge gained from the journey is synthesized into grounded, actionable spatial proposals — achieving true integration of learning and practice.
