Fabrication with Nature

In response to Frank Lloyd Wright’s focus on materials and building techniques in architecture, we invited Poyao Shih from Position, faculty at Pratt Institute School of Architecture to share projects he has worked on in the U.S. over the past five years, each exploring different approaches to working with natural materials. Titled ‘Fabrication with Nature,’ Poyao walked us through the comprehensive working process behind these projects and the challenges involved.
