The 2025 IET Winter International Architecture Workshop will take participants deep into the desert environment of Phoenix, Arizona, beginning at Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic masterpiece Taliesin West to explore the profound dialogue between architecture and the natural landscape.
In the historic and creative Cattle Track Arts Compound, you will have the opportunity to learn and exchange ideas with faculty and students from TSOA (The School of Architecture) and collaborate with resident artists to spark new design inspirations. The workshop integrates theory and practice, covering desert landscape studies, climate analysis, architectural tours, and final project creation — providing a comprehensive and immersive learning experience.
The program concludes with an unforgettable road trip to the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, where you will experience breathtaking landscapes far beyond what Taiwan has to offer.
